Monitor system/application events

Hi,
I want to suggest you a simple (i think) feature:
execute what you need (e.g. system shutdown) when in windows system/application events register happens a specific event number. Naturally you have to not consider previous events compared to shutter start.

This should be possible, but why would you need those events? They are very low level, and are mostly not for the user's concern.

Windows Events are typically used for troubleshooting application and driver software...

Can you clarify that this feature is useful, for example, by describing your own case?
