Search and Replace inside files

Hi there,

I would like to know if, with ReNamer or another tool like this one, it's possible to search and replace characteres?

Everyday I have to replace characters like this one "é" to his HTML symbol "é" in multiple files.

Thank you for your help and your time!

Gregg

Re: Search and Replace inside files

Hi and welcome.

There are many tools to modify the content of a file (even including some text editors).
ReNamer is a tool dedicated for to modify the name of a file.

But with the help of PascalScript you can do content modifications with ReNamer too:

For more advanced work we would recommend a more dedicated tool for that wok.

Read the  *WIKI* for HELP + MANUAL + Tips&Tricks.
If ReNamer had helped you, please *DONATE* to Denis or buy a PRO license. (Read *Lite vs Pro*)

Re: Search and Replace inside files

Try AstroGrep for searching and GrepWin for search and replace operations.

Notepad++ also has ability to search and replace content across files, but it is a bit less intuitive for that particular operation.
