I don't know whether it is the upgrade to V7.4, or a Windows 11 update, but I can no longer drag and drop files into Renamer. This has worked fine for years and recently stopped working. I am running Renamer V7.4 (latest) and Windows 11 Version 22H2 Build 25231.1000. It has not worked for several insider builds, though. Drag and drop works fine in other programs.
Thanks.

It sounds like an issue with Windows 11, but let's investigate...
Can you create a short video to demonstrate the issue?
Also, try using an alternative file explorer as the source for the drag & drop operation, for example Explorer++.

. . . I can no longer drag and drop files into Renamer. . . .
Do you perhaps run ReNamer with elevated admin rights (from a shortcut and checked "[x] Run As Admin") ?

Yes, it runs with elevated admin rights and has for years and years.

I'll create the video if you want.

Can't reproduce your issue.
Tested on Windows 11 22H2 build 22621.755 with ReNamer 7.4.
Note that the drag & drop may not work if you are running ReNamer under a different user account to the one used by the source of the drag & drop operation. This is a security feature of Windows.

I can reproduce and I have created a video. As you will see, I can drag/drop to/from Explorer/Explorer++, and from Everything, and other apps that support drag and drop work fine.
Update - I de-selected "Run as Administrator" and now it works. I'm not sure why it was set up that way, but I think it will work without admin privs.

Update to my update - I tried running MP3tag with admin privs and drag and drop doesn't work then, either.
BUT...
What it does do is put up the little circle with a slash symbol to say it can't do the requested drop, while ReNamer just doesn't do anything. I think that the way they do it is much better, so you understand that it is not broken, but unable to complete the task/
What's strange is that ReNamer has been in use for years and always worked until recently.
