How to make sure that when you open the program last used preset is automatically switched on?

There is "Save rules configuration on exit, load on startup" option in Settings. If enabled, it will ensure that the last used set of rules will always be loaded when you open the program.

Unfortunately, it doesn't remember the last used preset name, which may or may not matter to you.

This feature was implemented in ReNamer 7.2.0.6 Beta.

The relevant changelog entries:
* Remember and restore the last used preset by the preset name, rather than via an anonymous default preset.
* The option to remember the last used rules/preset is enabled by default.
