Properties unchanged after rename
After renaming some files, several fields in the properties of each song is incorrect or missing. Is there a way to change or edit all the files so that for instance, "Contributing Artist" is the same for all songs?

"Contributing Artist" is meta tag normally associated with audio files. Such meta tags are stored within the content of the file in various formats such as ID3. ReNamer is not designed to edit the content of files, but only to change the name of files and folders, sometimes with a use of such meta tags.
As Stefan has suggested, you will need a different kind of application for this task.
