Every time I launch Renamer, it acts as if I'm opening it for the first time and offers to open the Quick Guide. Is there a way to turn this off?
Also, I am unable to save presets.
Thanks
Mark

You have no write access to the ReNamer folder, as it seems. Go try understanding your operation system...
What is your ReNamer version?
Which operation system do you use?
Win7? With turned on UAC?
We should redirect all such problems back to M$ and thanks for UAC
Do we have an wiki entry for this too? I will check...
At least there should be many postings already:

Hi Mark,
As Stefan has suggested it is due to certain operating system restrictions, which sometimes don't play nicely.
Here is a wiki article about this issue: http://www.den4b.com/wiki/Compatibility#Vista_and_7
Which version of Windows do you have?
The quickest workaround to this problem is to install ReNamer into a non-protected folder, for example: C:\Tools\ReNamer\

I'm using Windows 8 Pro. I have it installed on a small SSD and have moved the users folders to an different drive.
Re-installing the program to a different drive fixed my issue. Thanks for the help.
