Renamer is awesome! But I found that the case rule need some correction. It's nice that you can keep some words the way you want them to be, mostly prepositions and abbreviations. But... for example if I want "a" or "an", "is", "the" and so on to stay lower case it's alright, but they stay lower in the beginning of the file name or somewhere in the word if new sentence begins with them. I think there must be an exception to this so they stay capitalized at the beginning of the file name or if there is a new sentence in the file name. Example: "the Encyclopedia of Leadership - a Practical Guide to Popular Leadership Theories and Techniques" must be "The Encyclopedia of Leadership - A Practical Guide to Popular Leadership Theories and Techniques". May it should be be after "-", "." (and the space after them of course) and also at the beginning of the file name, that these fragments stay capitalized. And may be there is more examples that I can't think of now. And it would be more handy if there is a casing list (list of fragments) loaded from a text file, from the clipboard or both, instead of a row as it is now. This rule I use by another renaming software, but it's just this because Renamer is better than it as a whole. Thank you!

Maybe you will find some line breaks? Just press the enter key from time to time. Makes your text more readable and maybe then someone will answer. Thank you!

I don't understand.
What is so wrong with my text?
It looks alright to me.
And if that's the case, well it should be written in the rules of the forum.
How could I know that text like mine would annoy somebody?
I didn't expect such answer and I'm a bit disappointed.
However Renamer is excellent.

Your second post is much more readable to me. Thank you.
However i can't see there any question about ReNamer or renaming issues i could answer you.
And no, it's not an forum rule but mine; it's an case of urbanity, if you want something,
make sure to deliver it with all the accuracy and clearness you can raise.
Remember, not all are native english speakers and not all wants to read an novell and
pick the important parts out of non-formated text themselves before they are able to help.
At least no me ;-) I don't find that funny to do in my spare time.
Anyway, welcome to the community!
Please format your first post and make the "important parts" more visible,
or wait a bit, maybe someone other can handle that better then me.

I don't know if Denis have the time to improve this because of >> The not easy story of the development, and the new way of things!
But if you just want to be sure that the char
at the beginning of the file name, and after "-", and "." And may be more,
be capitalized (no matter what case it really is before), then we can do that by an script rule after your other rules.
If so and you like that just let us know.
I searched a bit and i think this are somehow related threads with maybe some ideas:
