EXIF not read of folder name is unicode.

When my folder name is Taupō my rule
Insert ":EXIF_Date:" as Prefix
faile to extract the EXIF data.
Yet if the Folder Name is Taupo it works fine.
Using WXP SP3 ReNamer 5.50 (3 May 2009)

FYI, one of the first betas after full 5.50 release ( it was between ReNamer 5.50+ Beta 1 till  Beta 19 )

had an improvement related to this:
* Image_* meta tags can handle Unicode filenames, except for TIFF files;

So i think its worth to download the latest beta and see if this works better for you.

Looks like the Beta is still going to give the same problems with the TIFFs.
I think it's an external plugin, and that's why it hasn't been fixed yet.

You guys got it right on target.

I just revisited this issue and fixed it for TIFF files as well. Image_* and TIFF_* tags for TIFF files will now work on Unicode filenames.
