I work the same way as you but since you don't have to install ReNamer but just unpack and run it,
you can just unpack to an folder where you have write access, even to %appdata% if you want.
(I have anyway an second partition just for data and portable apps, but e.g. "My Documents" or like that would be just fine)
Instead of unpacking an fresh archive you can also just copy the existing ReNamer folder from "C:\Program Files\".
If you want to keep ReNamer under "C:\Program Files\ReNamer" then
just give that folder modify rights for the group "users" and all is as you like.
