Hi, all,
is it possible to configure ReNamer to load the last preset used on startup?
I know there's the option "Save rules configuration on exit, load on startup", but I often make small changes in the rules to acomodate for those specific files and I don't want to save those changes.
What I want is for the program to load that last preset on startup, exactly the way it is currently saved. Is it possible?
P.S.: by the way, anyone can tell me why (or if it's only me), but the ctrl+1, ctrl+2, etc (shortcuts to load presets) does not seam to work with the numbers on the keypad (to the right of the keyboard)?

Hi
As far as I know, presets must be loaded manually after any small change, using shortcuts keys or via drop down list in Presets menu, to use them again after restart.
Maybe "load the last preset used on startup" could be added to settings menu...

Nice observation. Using numbers from num pad doesn't respond on my PC too.

That would be simply great! I wonder what Denis thinks about this...

That's good to know. I wonder why is that... Normally I think one would have to go with "extra thinking" when programming to actually prevent the num pad numbers from having a similar effect on the program as of the regular numbers. I wonder if this was specifically designed to be like this for any reason (that I can't think of)...

Shortcuts are activated from the virtual keys, not characters resulting from the key presses. Digits on the number pad have different virtual key codes to the digits lined up above letters, that is why they do not activate shortcuts.

How about using links to preset, to automatically load appropriate presets? Use "Create Links" option from the main menu or have a look at ReNamer Command Line article.
