love your work

renamer has come in very handy a couple of times for me..

i am sure once people hear about it they will love it too smile

have you ever considered writing a little 'print/copy' dir lister? (one that works with windows shell so you can right click and 'copy folder text' or similar?

that would be cool - i have seen a few around (like folderscavenger) but renamer needs a buddy smile

Re: love your work

I think you are right, people just need to hear about renamer, and they will love it once they try it   I was never really advertising it, I initially developed it for my-self, because I didn't find any renamer that suited me, so I developed my own. Then I made it available to the public, as a freeware... It's doing great since then smile

About your 'print/copy' dir lister...  It takes a while to develop an entirely new application, I'm not sure that I'm good for it at the moment... to much work and other stuff to do, maybe later!

Re: love your work

I have tried numerous renaming utilities, both shareware and freeware, and this is the best all around renamer of the bunch.  It has just enough functionality, without being too bloated with extra features.

Thanks, Denis !  Bolshoe spasibo, drug ! !

Re: love your work

I just wanted to add that I, too, love Renamer!

After transfering lots and lots of data from one box to another via FTP, all file names were a bit garbled, which I could easily correct with your tool.

Thanks!
:-)

Re: love your work

Was looking for a file renamer to add CRC32/MD5 to the filename and ReNamer is the only one I could find that does it smile

Looks like it's going to become my file renamer of choice now... thanks for the program!
