Delete or possibly add some characters...

how would i make renamer delete, or possibly add some characters to my new file names that are duplicate.

for example, in my list,  a ton of files end up having the same names after being renamed, and you obviously cant have a file with the same name in the same directory. is there anyone for renamer to add an X to the duplicate file?
