* Press "Print"-key on your key board => Image will be in clipboard ( Press ALT+"Print"-key to take the active window only )

* Open PAINT
* Press Ctrl+V to insert clipboard (Image)

* do some modifying if needed (use rectangle select tool to select the main part of the shot -> ctrl+C -> Ctrl+N (NO, don't save) -> Ctrl+V insert selected part)
* shrink the background to the image size if needed (not easy to find the handles)

* at last "Save as..." somename.PNG ( use PNG !!! if you have the case, on Win2000 save as *.jpg)

* point your browser to f.ex. http://www.imageshack.us/ (one side of many)
* use "Browse"-Button to browse for your "somename.png"
* then [host it] (upload it)

* copy the "Direct link to image" url - provided by that service - here in the forum f.ex =>

so every one can click it and see the picture

* you can also select the whole URL and press the [img]-button above of the edit field to get....

Or much better, because faster loading of this side,

use "Thumbnail for forums (1)" (or what ever work)

to get...

Thanks for such HUGE explanation and inlaying effort to post all these words, pictures, links...

I managed somehow in posting that image but it wasn't ideal . Hope I'll overcome that posting in future

You are man of HELP for all these members (including me also) . Keep going and I'll support you as much as I can

P.S. I knew how to "freeze" image but I didn't knew how to show image in forum as I saw somewhere... For that job I use Ashampoo Magical Snap 2. Excellent tool, no doubt. Try it... I'm satisfied with it so thanks anyway in posting these links. Someone will use them

If you want to give us an file (like an *.jpg, an *.txt or an *.pas) itself
you can use one of those free file-hosters.

I show you one (of many) way here on example with RapidShare.

0.) point your browser to www.rapidshare.de or www.rapidshare.com
1.) browse your harddisk for the file you want to provide us (be sure it is clean from personal info and you have the license to distribute it)
2.) send it to the server by clicking on upload (only an copy is send, the file is still on your disc)
3.) after a few seconds you will see an other side, from them copy and paste the download link into the forum, so...
4.) ...we can download them by following that URL
