Doesn't work while computer locked

Shutter Doesn't work while computer locked

Here's my basic usage for shutter:
- Download a large File.
- Open Shutter, use Event: File Size Limit. (So when the file download completes shutter detects size bigger than 1024 bytes - Since Firefox Uses another File for downloading with the extension ".part"- , then Shutdown Computer)
- Lock the computer so no one would slow down or pause my download sad  .
- Go to Sleep.

Please Help Me Sleep Better! wink

info:
OS: Vista SP1
Protection: KIS 7.0
Browser: Firefox 3

Re: Doesn't work while computer locked

Once you lock your workstation, Shutter will lose permission to shutdown the computer. Shutter would have to be run As Service in order to avoid this. At the moment, I am not planning to change entire application to make it a service, but there are some 3-rd party applications which can make other programs run as service.

Have a look at this topic, it may help: Shutter: Run as Service
