Renamer Duplicated Folders

I am testing this tool so as to use it.

I made a 3 levels structure of folders and files.
Something like this:

FolderTest
Folder with strange Char & with amps
   File with amps &&&.doc
Other Folder
   Other file.doc

I add the FolderTest folder which include all subfolders and files.
I add the rule to remove & (ampersands)

When i click the Rename button i get an error and the next structure

FolderTest
Folder with strange Char & with amps
Folder with strange Char with amps
   File with amps &&&.doc
Other Folder
   Other file

Strange. It seems to have a problem naming folders

This is a common problem, and you'll be surprised, but it is actually your fault

Anyway, this problem and its solution has been described in several topics:
Subfolder Renaming in ReNamer 4.65

The most probable cause for your problem is the fact that you are trying to rename the parent folders first, and then its files/subfolders, which will fail to rename because their paths would be changed after renaming their parent folder.

Example: If you have folders like: "C:\folder", "C:\folder\subfolder". If you rename "C:\folder" first, then "C:\folder\subfolder" folder will fail to rename because it will not be found, its path would be changed.

To eliminate this problem, you need to sort the table by "Folder" column in reverse order.
