Hi,
This is what I do to just see the modified files:
and after
Can you implement just a button or an option to see just the modified files.
This will be very useful in a long list of files.

I can add another option "Clear not changed files", with a shortcut.
Would that be helpful?

Yes very useful :
And even better if this shortcut is under the first pop-up and not under the "clearing" sub menu.
Just one thing: maybe it's better to use the "mark only changed (exc. case)" for the first filter because most people don't use case.

I've added "Clear Not Changed" option to the Clearing submenu, with Ctrl+D shortcut key.
So all you need to do now is press Ctrl+D to remove not changed files (focus on the table).
Try it from here: ReNamerBeta.zip

This is really really really really really great. :
Just one thing. When you select that option and there is no files for renaming, nothing append.
Normally, all the files should be cleared.

Hmmm... "When... no files for renaming... all the files should be cleared" ???

I said that with the Ctrl+D option not just after the opening of ReNamer (I don't know if I made myself clear enough).
Because if you select the new option (did I say that it's a really great option ) you want to see just the changed files.

I am really confused now
If you use this option (Ctrl+D), it will remove all files which did not change their names (Name not equal to New Name). And that is to be done after preview and before rename.... Sorry, but I really don't understand the last question.... You said: "When you select that option and there is no files for renaming, nothing append" - of course, if there are no files, there is nothing to change....

Now I'm confused.
For one folder, all is ok, and for another, nothing append.
I open the folder with the right click.
I click onto the list of files (26 files)
I do Ctrl+D
And all the files are still listed.
I redo the same with a different folder, and all files are cleared
Update: just done a test and now working.
-I reselect the same folder
-I suppress the beginning of the name
-I close ReNamer
-I reselect the same folder
-I insert the suppressed beginning
-I close ReNamer
-I reselect the same folder
-And now the files are gone with the Ctrl+D :
Thanks for the try

So the problem is that the shortcut key doesn't work sometimes, is that right??
For the Ctrl+D shortcut to work, you need to be focused on the FILES table.
This is because this shortcut comes from within the context menu for this table.
Simple click of the mouse on the files area - will set the focus to it....
