Miss Events "on startup machine" and "on user login"

I miss the two events

"on startup machine"
and
"on user login"

Will they be added?

Re: Miss Events "on startup machine" and "on user login"

Shutter was designed as a user level application, rather than a system level service. The user dictates when Shutter should run. In contract, Task Scheduler is a system service, which is running all the time and allows you to start processes at certain system events, like a startup or user login.

To automatically start Shutter when you login, you can simply place a shortcut in your Startup folder. See the instructions for setting up apps to run automatically at startup. You can create a shortcut for Shutter that will automatically start a predefined preset via the command line options.
