Lasso function in the file table?

It seems that versions subsequent to v5.74 lack the 'lasso' function.

I find this function quite useful which is why I continue using 5.74. 

Is there a reason for its removal?

This feature was disabled due to bugs in a 3rd party component. However, a quick test just showed that the previously experienced issues are no longer present, so let's try re-enabling the lasso selection.

ReNamer 7.2.0.5 Beta:
Restored the ability to draw the selection rectangle with a mouse in the files table.

Try the latest development version.

Thanks very much.  I shall give the Beta a go. 

BTW, thanks for Renamer -- I use it everyday and am not sure what I would do without it.
