Replace Certain Characters In Meta Tags

I'm trying to use another program (Media Monkey) to use Meta Tags in various .mp3 files to change the filename of the files.

Unfortunately, certain characters within the Meta Tags are preventing doing this.

Not really sure.

Wondering, hoping, that ReNamer can go into these .mp3 files, and replace various possibly 'illegal' characters with spaces.

That would mean ReNamer would have to have the ability to edit the Meta Tags.

Any possibility?

This Media Monkey add-on should do the trick:

...and you don't need to know RegEx to use it.

[you must be using MM4. Add-On does not work with MM5]

After extracting the Meta Tags with rule #1, use another rule(s) to modify them.

Every next rule use the result of the previous rule.
At the end, if the Preview looks good, start to rename.

ReNamer is not that kind of tools to edit the Meta Tags / file content, it is a great tool to rename files and folders.
For to edit the Meta Tags of MP3 files use a ID3 tag editor.
