Not reliably resets "user inactive" event after wake-up

Hi everybody!

I've recently updated Shutter from an old version (don't know from which one anymore) to 4.3.0.0 and now I'm experiencing an issue I never observed before:
- After waking up computer by mouse move or keystroke *_sometimes_* the "user inactive" status is displayed as "triggered" (the count-down time is not reset), and the computer goes to sleep again right away.

Configuration:
Win7 Pro;

   Logic:
        1By1

   Events:
User Inactive (Inactive for 15 Minutes using last input event),
CPU Usage (Below 60% for 60 seconds, Average)

   Actions:
        Sleep (Disable wake event)

1. Appreciate any ideas on how to make it work reliably
2. Is there any documentation, what "Disable wake event" means / how it works?

Thanks in advance,
KC

Re: Not reliably resets "user inactive" event after wake-up

Hi,

The first thought is that you have a system configured sleep that kicks in just before Shutter triggers its own sleep sequence. So when your wake up from system sleep, it might be followed by another sleep triggered by Shutter.

1. Check your system power options.
2. Shutter » Settings » Advanced » Prevent system sleep while activated.

If it still causes issues, please attach your full Settings.ini and a preset file.

Regarding the meaning of "Disable wake event" option, you can find more information here:

Hello!
Thanks a lot, you are perfectly right, it's the setting in power options!
