I am new to the program and the site. I do not know how to write code or script very well at all. I have searched for hours and tried figuring this out on my own without solving the problem.
I have a lot of picture and video files I am trying to rename using the "Date Modified" and/or "Date Created" properties on Win 7. The dates and time are correct in Win explorer, but when I use the "Insert ':File_DateCreated:' as Prefix" rule the new file names are all one hour too early.
Ie.. The date/time a photo/video was taken is "09-17-19 10:30 PM."
ReNamer says "09-17-09 09:30 PM."
How can I fix this?

Sounds like a DST issue to me, but as always, Denis will be the final judge on whether this is actually a bug or not.

I have just tested a bunch of photos taken at different dates through out the year, capturing both DST zones. Date and time is displayed correctly, same values as Win XP displays.
So in your case, it might be Win 7 or some specific format of your photos that are responsible for the time difference. I don't have Win 7, but you can share a sample photo and I will check EXIF tags in it.
Can you share a sample photo?

I am also a new user to this program and site. Using Windows Vista, I have the same problem with the hour difference in the Exif date and the date taken. Was there any further discussion about this? Thanks.
