Shutter with wm6.5 and htc

Hi,

I have tried Shutter (very excellent by the way) on PC and it works fine, the window with username and password appears.

I tried on an iPhone with safari and it works perfectly. Unfortunately I have a htc (whatever the model) and with i.e and opera mobile it doesn't work. The window username doesn't appear.

Any ideas?

Shutter uses Basic HTTP Authentication method for access control on the web interface. Any modern browser supports this method.

Maybe yours doesn't? Are you using browser on a mobile phone?

Yes, he seems to be using an HTC mobile with mobile IE and Opera.

This page seems to say that mobile IE supports basic HTTP authentication. So maybe you have changed some setting somewhere?

I tried on several HTC and it seems that it doesn't work with IE and opera, nevertheless with the configuration by default of these browsers. On the other hand with safari (Iphone) it works.
I'll check on internet how to use http authentication with ie and opera.

I'll keep you posted or whether you have more inputs...
