I heve to set a default code page to latvian and work with file names in russian also, but fulders in unicode russian are not taken at all and fine names gives only a strign of "?" signs

Hi platais,
ReNamer doesn't support Unicode (yet). But you can rename your files once you've setup a correct locale, like you probably did... You probably tried to add Russian Folders via the Add Folder dialogs, right? Components that are used in these forms do not yet process any other character sets rather then standard English one. BUT, you can simply Drag and Drop your Russian Folders into ReNamer, they will be shown correctly!! (That's what I do with my Russian folders and files)
It is getting closet to the day when I will start implementing Unicode support...
Hope that helps

Just to update: Full Unicode support has been added since ReNamer 4.00 (2 July 2006).
