How to remember column widths, especially "State"?

Ok, I am working with Renamer and resize the columns according to my preferences.
I hate especially the width of the first "State" column. So I shrink it to a much smaller size.

It worked for the current session.

When I exit and re-open Renamer then the column widths are back to theri initial width.

How do I let Renamer remember its last column widths permanently ?

Yes, I already disabled "Auto size table on change" but it didn't help.

Can I possibly hide completely the first column ?

Peter

BTW: I am running Renamer from USB stick.

Re: How to remember column widths, especially "State"?

This is "legacy" behaviour, where columns do not get auto-sized. The default behaviour now is "Auto size table on change" = ON, so I would recommend turning it back ON. This will fix your problem. This option is intended to speed up processing for large quantities of files, e.g. 10,000 files. That's why I don't bother remembering the column sizes, because most of the users are using the auto-size option.

P.S. You said "I already disabled..." - why? Auto-sizing didn't work for you??
