Help, I have used CPUMon for a very long time without any problems, but now it doesn't monitor any cpu activity. Instead of the speed en Mb it displays a ?-mark and 0% usage. I've tried a lot to solve the problem, tried to reïnstall it several times, registrycleaning etc. but it didn't solve the problem.
Maybe an inactive service??

Several users have recently discovered this problem. And the problem is in fact in your system, which have the so called performance counters/objects disabled - which blocks CPUMon from reading the cpu usage. One of the users has recently discovered how to manually re-enable those counters, from within registry. I have integrated that solution in the latest development version. On the start-up, if it detects that those counters are disabled, it will ask you to re-enable them.
These are the changes that CPUMon will make to the registry:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\PerfOS\Performance:Disable Performance Counters=0
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Perflib:Disable Performance Counters=0
Try the latest development version: CPUMonBeta.zip
NOTE: CPUMon will not yet work on Vista.

I've installed the CPUMonBeta, and.......It works, that's really great!
On start up it detected correctly that the counters where disabled.
I'm very happy, I felt kind of handicapped without CPUMon.
Thanks very much for your reply
