Droplets/Links Stopped Working

Hi I have been using the droplets for a while by adding them to the send to menu and they have been working perfect, but now of all a sudden they stopped working. Both the load with preset and rename with preset stopped working and I also noticed that the send to renamer link is not working either. I tried reinstalling and even upgrading to the latest version but that didn't help. I'm on windows 10 and the current version of renamer is 7.2.

Re: Droplets/Links Stopped Working

Have you tried to regenerate your shortcuts/droplets using the Main Menu > Presets > Create Links option?

You can also test the commands directly from the Command Prompt or Power Shell:

Re: Droplets/Links Stopped Working

I had tried to recreate the links but not the command line. Interestingly enough when I tried to run a command I got this message:

'"ReNamer.exe"' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

I tried it both from a normal CMD windows and an elevated one but got the same result. Weird part is the program itself works fine.

Re: Droplets/Links Stopped Working

You need to use the full path to "ReNamer.exe", unless "ReNamer.exe" is in your current working directory or in the %PATH% environment variable.

Example command:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\ReNamer\ReNamer.exe" /preset "My Preset"
