Hello! I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm not what terms to use to search for this. Simply put:
I have two folders of the same image files, one in JPEG and the other in TIFF.
I finished renaming the JPEG files.
Now I need to apply the same names to the TIFF files.
I figure I can sequence the TIFF files (1, 2, 3...) in the same order as the JPEG files first before applying any rules.
However, I don't know if such a rule exists on ReNamer.
Note: These folders were found separately, with the JPEG files already renamed once before. Hence I hadn't thought of applying the renaming rules on both JPEG and TIFF files at the same time in the same sequence.
I can clarify if the question isn't clear. Thank you!

Hi and welcome.
You will need an relationship between JPEG and TIFF files.
If you can do that,
as I understood out of "I can sequence the TIFF files (1, 2, 3...) in the same order as the JPEG files"
than you can try this workflow:
- have your JPEG in wanted order
- Export new names to clipboard
(https://www.den4b.com/wiki/ReNamer:Export_menu)
Next
- have your TIFF in wanted order (and have a backup)
- utilize UserInput and paste in your export from above
(https://www.den4b.com/wiki/ReNamer:Rules:UserInput)
- use Preview
- if fine, rename
Will that work for you?
