Automating a preset to run as a scheduled job

Hi All,

I've completed a series of regular expression commands that I setup as a preset in Renamer and it all runs beautifully but my problem is that I have to manually load and run the preset at the end of the day but I need it to run automatically at different scheduled times. How can we achieve this?

Hello,

You can use command line options to automatically rename files using an existing preset.

For example:

ReNamer.exe /rename "My Preset" "C:\FileA" "C:\FileB" "C:\DirC" ...

There is also Main Menu > Presets > Create Links option, which creates similar shortcuts but without the files appended at the end.
