[Idea] Presets in rule window context menu...

Like this mockup:

Not as a sub-list though please...  At the top of the main menu...
Just a thought.  smile

Re: [Idea] Presets in rule window context menu...

Interesting idea, but may not be very practical.

It would pollute the context menu, making the accessibility of standard options more difficult. Think of a context menu with 20,30,40 options.

Re: [Idea] Presets in rule window context menu...

The current system just takes too much mouse dexterity is all.  I never like sub-menus for this reason...  Another idea would be keeping the presets in the current location, but having a preference option for them to be in either a submenu (like currently) or to have them in the root preset menu (i.e. not in a submenu).

Of course I do have to concede that no else commented on this thread, which suggests that there is not much public interest in this topic.  Anyway, thanks for the reply.  smile

Re: [Idea] Presets in rule window context menu...

Are you familiar with the Presets Manager?

It is supposed to make the management and usage of presets easier, especailly if you have a large number of presets. It eliminates popup menus altogether. You can bring it up with Ctrl+P shortcut and double click on any preset, or use keyboard navigation.
