WMP stopped playing

Hi Denis.

First of all, an excellent utility. I'd like to know how to customize shutter for other processes, especially for e.g. is there a way to create an event which activates when wmplayer.exe stops playing songs...i mean, the process is still there, but idle...how can i hibernate/shutdown in this case?

Thanks.

Re: WMP stopped playing

Thanks smile

I'm afraid I don't know of any way that Shutter can find out when WMP stopped playing. If you use Winamp for playing your media, then you could use an event called "Winamp Stops", but there is no such event for WMP. Maybe if WMP has an option like "close program when stops playing" , then you could use "Process Stops" or "Window Closes" events.

By the way, does the title of the WMP window change when it is playing? Can you distinguish the state of the playback by looking at the title? There might be a chance of using a "Window Closes" event.

Also, have a look at this project: Windows Media Player Standby Plug-in
