Any changes made to the Add Rule dialog are immediately saved (in RAM) so that even if the rule is not added and the dialog is closed and reopened, the changes persist (for that program instance only of course). In this case it becomes difficult if you want to add a new rule but don't want any of the previous changes to persist.
It would thus be nice if all the Add Rule options or forms (i.e. Insert, Delete, Remove, Replace etc.) had a reset button that will reset only that particular page to all defaults (after asking for user confirmation of course).

I'm totally accord, but instead of adding a "Reset" button for every Formulary I think that could be better to internally set an unique Boolean Flag just creating a Checkbox with title "Persistent Dialogs" (or something else) in the General options that will determines the persistency of the Strings written of all the Forms at once.
Thanks for read.

The problem with the Boolean flag as an option is that sometimes having the previous selections and entered strings saved helps a lot when you want to add a new rule that's a modification of the previous one. At other times a fresh start is required which is where a reset button would be really handy. Making it an option would mean either saving the data or not at all, and one wouldn't be able to take advantage of both states as and when required.

Added to the list of future improvements, but not a high priority.
To summarize, we have two ways for implementing this:
1) Global option to either remember or not remember rules configuration changes.
2) Add a "reset" option on the rules configuration window.
Which one is the best?
A major disadvantage of adding the "reset" option on the rules configuration window is that we are going to make the window more crowded, and it is already a very busy (complex) window.

Personally I would prefer a local option directly in the rules configuration dialog a lot more than a global setting, because resetting the current page/form is something you might want to do sometimes and not others and for that a global "always remember/don't remember" option doesn't make sense.
As for space availability, even a very small button (with an appropriate icon and tooltip) placed somewhere in the corner of the dialog would suffice. No need for text or anything that'll make the button large.

Thanks for the feedback, it will be useful once we get to implementing that feature.
