Folders Fail to Add

Using XP SP3 and ReNamer 5.6. 

I am able to add files (and rename them) but when I click on the Add Folders button, the Browse dialogue is very slow to open.  When it does, the  "Drag your files here" message disappears.  When a folder is selected to add, clicking on the "Add Folder" button at the bottom fails to add the folder to ReNamer.  I am unable to rename folders and/or sub-folders.

What am I missing to accomplish renaming of folders?  Thanks.

Welcome aboard New Member!

Generally folders are treated as containers, not items to be renamed.
To rename folders, use the filter option Add folders as files
