Re: Internet / network activity event

Good to hear that smile

Would you believe that before the time of your post I was unable to add that event due to insufficient amount of information on actual implementation of the network monitoring? After your post, I did a bit of research once again, and guess what?! I found just enough information to implement this event. Good news: I will add it! Bad news: it will take some time, because the first item on the to-do list is the redesign of the Shutter's functionality and interface, in order to support usage of multiple-events at once.

Is this feature still considered for Shutter 3?

Re: Internet / network activity event

Hi All,

I am currently putting together a headless microserver and I'm pondering with the idea of wake on network activity hooked up with a shutdown when there is no activity for a significant period.

Would shutter cover this? It sounds like I may have found my solution...

Cheers,

Rob

Re: Internet / network activity event

It can't do the first part (waking computer) but it sure can put it to sleep when network transfers are below a certain threshold.
