Saving rules

I am just starting to play with and learn this tool. I am really liking what I am seeing so far!

But I am running into a problem that is perplexing me. How do I save rules from session to session?

I cannot see any mention of this in the documentation. I saw another message on this forum that seems to imply that rules are saved automatically unless the install directory is protected. I moved the ReNamer dir to c:\. But the rules that I created do not persist after shutdown.

After playing some more, I think the way to do this is to save as a preset, and then load the preset the next time. Is this correct?

Yes, presets is exactly what you need and here is more info: Using presets.

You can also enable an option in settings: "Save rules configuration on exit, load on start up"
