Hasher does not remember last Hashing method

When starting Hasher then always SHA1 is down in the drop-down menu at the bottom.

When I select CRC32, exit and restart Hasher then again Hasher showns SHA1.
Can I tell Hasher somehow to remember the last selected Hash method?

Same with other settings.

Peter

Re: Hasher does not remember last Hashing method

What version of Hasher are you running?

1.20?

The setting in the drop down box on the dialog screen is an interactive change, it does not save anything from there.

To save, you need to go to Settings | Formats, select the Hash Type in that drop down box, & then click Save.

That said, you may want to use Hasher3Alpha.zip instead.

Re: Hasher does not remember last Hashing method

Hasher, as every other application on this site, stores its settings in <Application>.ini file in the same directory as the executable file. Hasher may not be able to save its settings file due to security restrictions on the machine, e.g. UAC.
