You have received a virus warning by your Anti-Virus software when used Hooker?
- This application may be marked as dangerous by some anti-virus software because of how this application works!
In order to capture system-wide keyboard activity special Windows Hooks must be used. This involves injecting code into memory of every running process. Such activity can be considered suspicious by some anti-virus software and it is no surprise. This is the only way for doing this job and any software based activity monitoring tools have to use this method, making it easy to detect for anti-virus software.
Known software to give a warning
- Avast
- Norton AV 2005
