3003: Message Panel Is Not Working
Can you elaborate please? Describe the steps to reproduce, expected and actual result. What is 3003?
Offline
(No big deal at this point, but ...)
Beta 3.0.0.3.
Click on the Messages icon or click the Toggle Message menu item & the message box fails to open.

I can't reproduce this issue... Please try the latest development version (3.0.0.4 Beta).
My steps:
1) Open Hasher
2) Click on Messages icon or Toggle Messages menu item
Result:
* Messages window appears at the bottom of the GUI
What version of Windows are you using?

XP SP3 at the moment, though pretty sure it was not working in Win7 either.
3.0 release works.
Neither 3003 nor 3004 work.

In the latest version you can resize the main window to make the messages pane visible. Does that work for you?

Win7
3.0 release works.
3002 works.
3003, I can drag the message pane open.
I can then close it using the icon or menu item, but it does not then reopen by doing same.

So far I've tested on Win 7 and XP, but still can't reproduce the problem.
Do you have any visual customizations, custom themes, larger font size, etc? Can you make few screenshots? Are there any visual changes when you toggle messages, no matter how tiny?
Procedure for toggling messages window tries to detect whether the window is currently visible. The window is deemed visible if it is at least one pixel in height, otherwise it is deemed hidden. I don't see how it could be possible currently, but if the messages window would never shrink to zero pixels even when forced then it would be always treated as visible, hence, toggling to make it visible will do nothing.

No, no, no.
I have most "crap" turned off, ending up close to an XP look.

Thanks for the visual presentation, it was very helpful.
The messages window seems to remain at 1px in height even when toggled off, resulting in a thin white line just above the status bar. I still can't reproduce it on any of my systems, so I am not sure why exactly this is happening but I have a feeling that it might be caused by certain visual/theme customizations.
I have changed slightly the code for toggling the messages window in the latest dev version (v3.0.0.5 Beta), but I can't test it.
Could you please test it and upload screenshots of how it looks on your system?
