Thanks for reporting this issue!
I have discovered the problem, and fixed it in the latest development version: ShutterBeta.zip
Try it, and tell me how it goes, ok?

MERCI +++ for answer and your work !!!
I deleted all content of the old folder, unzipped new content.
Then I had to re-install the previous .ini, your beta .exe seems not to create a new one when I tried to save settings ? Is it normal ?
Anyway, the bug seems to be solved, I'll tell you more in a couple of days.

You could've just unpacked it into the original folder, because all what Archive/Installer has is 1 DLL and 1 EXE, without INI.
Shutter saves its settings into INI file when you close it...

euh ... it didn't do it, when I closed the program, no INI where created. I knew it previously and tried it...
Perhaps a local bug, don't worry, all is ok now

Strange... maybe it doesn't have permissions to write to the directory??
I just tried it on mine, launched Shutter and closed it straight away. INI file was created.

Perhaps ? My OS is WinXP home SP2.

Try unpacking it on your Desktop... Run and Close, then check INI.
Do you have administrative rights on that computer?
Offline
Yes I have admin rights.
It works ok on my desktop, .ini is created.
I think I found something about it : the folder "shutter" is a "hidden folder". When I uncheck "hidden" option for this folder, .ini is created ...
don't know why... I'm not working in Microsoft Cie !
Thx ++ for help ! It works very well now.
